MSD Animal Health nombra a Sandra Castillo como Directora del equipo de Animales de Compañía en España para continuar impulsando la innovación y los recientes lanzamientos

MSD Animal Health, a division of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA and its affiliates (NYSE: MRK), is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra Castillo as Head of the Companion Animals team at MSD Animal Health Spain.

With a track record of more than two decades in roles of regional responsibility in various categories of animal care and health, and with experience in similar positions within other companies in the sector, Sandra will lead the company’s strategy in Spain working together with companion animal veterinarians in the market to meet the health and welfare needs of animals.

Before joining MSD Animal Health, Sandra led marketing for Europe at Nestlé Purina and later was the director of the companion animal team, both in Spain and later in the Western Europe region within another reference company in animal health. In addition, she has recently been director of e-commerce at a global level, a role from which she successfully led the execution of a five-year strategic plan that generated better access to the company’s products and boosted the relationship with key stakeholders such as companies and veterinary professionals.

Sandra’s extensive experience spans multiple markets, including key European countries such as France, Germany and the UK, as well as the US and China. Such experiences give you a deep understanding of market dynamics and business models at the local, regional and global levels. In turn, his knowledge of the Spanish market and his close relationship with veterinarians in Spain will allow him to consolidate MSD Animal Health’s position in the companion animal sector and boost the company’s leadership in animal health in Spain.
